What Can I Expect From St. Paul AME Zion Church?
You can expect an introduction to or a continuation of your spiritual journey and your personal relationship with God.  We serve the True and Living God and believe that Jesus Christ is His Son who died so that we may have eternal life.  God’s Holy Word, The Bible, is our roadmap that leads us in all we do.  We affirm our faith during worship services with The Apostles Creed (click the "What We Believe" link on the right).  It confirms our belief and guides us as we serve and minister.  You can expect to find a denomination rich in history and yet progressive as we strive to meet the ever-changing needs you face daily for yourself, your family, your community, and most importantly your spiritual growth.
How Can I Receive God’s Salvation?  

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

  • Admit that you are a sinner, confess that you have sinned against God and ask Him for forgiveness.
  • Believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God Who died for you on the cross, rose from the dead, and is Lord.
  • Call upon Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior enabling you to turn from sin and to live for Him.

"Heavenly Father, have mercy on me, a sinner. I believe in you and that your word is true. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God and that He died on the cross so that I may now have forgiveness for my sins and eternal life.
I believe in my heart that you, Lord God, raised Him from the dead. Please Jesus forgive me, for my sins, please Lord Jesus forgive me and come into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior today. I give you my life and ask you to take full control from this moment on; I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ."  Amen

What Can I Expect For My Family?  

St. Paul AME Zion strives to me the needs of all in building the Body of Christ.  From children to seniors, there is a ministry that will enrich and equip your life.  Please visit our "Ministries" page for detailed descriptions of active organizations.  Don’t see what you are looking for?...Leave a comment on our "Contact Us" page so that we can address your needs.  It is our goal to complete God’s work in accordance to His Purpose and God may be using you as a vessel to enlighten us to an area where we are lacking. 

We are also poised to meet your needs globally.  The blessing of being part of such a denomination as the AME Zion church is that you can "Find an AME Zion Church" in almost every state and several foreign countries.  You are never very far away from Zion. 

Education is an expectation in our denomination and is set forth by our colleges and seminary schools.  You and your children will be educated spiritually and professionally to offer further guidance and assistance. 

Our community outreach is both local and universal.  Do you have a heart for service and mission work?...  St. Paul AME Zion has an Outreach Ministry that works faithfully to address the needs of our community.  The Women’s Home and Overseas Missionary Society serves international communities in need of aid and assistance.  While primarily serving African nations, its’ tentacles stretch globally.  You and your family can expect to reap the blessings that come from giving back to others.
